Subject	car dies when ignition is turned on

Message	ok, this is my daily driver ('95 n/a coupe) so this is kinda urgent. my car won't start, when i open my car door before i start my car all the lights work, however, once i turn the key to the ingition position,...... every thing dies and stays dead for a while, not sure how long because after a while the lights work again until i try to start the car again. hoped i would be lucky and replaced the starter relay today ($20 & took me less than 10 min) much to my disappointment my car still wont start. SOS, please HELP! thanks, hope ur weekend is better than mine.
